Things discovered about alcohol:
- I cannot handle it.
- While those shots tasted good (like chocolate milk!), evidently they didn’t like me
- I get drunk really, really easy (2 coolers, 2 shots (and they were about two hours apart) and part of a Mike’s Hard Lemonade)
- I get sober really, really easy
- Alcohol doesn’t taste nearly as good coming up
- Personal space doesn’t exist when you’re drunk. Case in point: At the beginning of the evening, when the first coolers were opened, we were bitching about the lack of couches and thus places to sit. There was a max of three people per couch. At the end of the evening, when everyone was drunk and sleepy, we had up to six people on the couches
- Alcohol makes me sleepy
- It also makes me thinking that Gerda stopping the spinner on green all the time for twister is frickin’ hilarious
- When Gerda had to think about what colour it landed on, I laughed too
- I’m very giggly drunk
And that is it. No drunken blog post cuz I’m not drunk. For the obvious reason that I threw up all the alcohol. Then again, I didn’t even have the slightest buzz when I threw up anyways. Hopefully I’ve gone through the hangover stage already.
Hopefully.
(Next time I’m just gunna drink vodka coolers and have no shooters. Sound like a plan?)

You know, there was a time in which I could write prolifically. It’d only take me a couple of hours to whip out a 10 page chapter of a massively confusing story with tons of mini arcs draping this way and that. Now? It’ll take me an hour to write a single page. Conversely, I’m a far better writer now than I was a few years back (god, I’d hope so!), but I find myself constantly googling things or looking them up on wikipedia to get the tiniest of facts straight. And this is for a one shot fanfiction. Jeeze.
Ironically enough, I do not seem to have the ability to blog prolifically either. I suspect that I am too easily distractable…
Aaaand I just took a five minute break to discuss video games with Gavin. Yup, I’m distractable. And, dammit, that is totally a word, Mr. Crappy Spellchecker!

Didn’t realise until a few minutes ago that Kate Mulgrew also supplied the voice for Titania/Anastasia Renard from Gargoyles. Now that I rewatch some of the episodes she’s in, I totally can tell.
Great to see that over half of the space used on my external hdd involves shows that Kate has acted in…
Er, she plays the Captain of the USS Voyager, NC somestringofnumbers, btw. If you didn’t know that already. And, dammit, she makes me laugh. her expressions are quite entertaining (especially the glares of doom… and the mmm, coffee <3 expressions... and the you are a fool but I will stand here and try to resist throttling you looks... okay... well... I <3 all of them. I think Voyager is the only show/book/movie/whatever that my favourite character hasn't been male... In fact, my top three faves are are female (Janeway, obviously, is at the number one spot, then B'Elanna and Seven are tied for second). Unusual.)

omg. The book was good. Very good. It’s definitely as good as PoA, maybe even better! Well, it had the same issues as all the books since OotP, however… the middle bits were all boring and pretty much pointless. Honestly, I woulda glossed it over with ‘they camped out for months and made no progress’. *eyeroll*
But, anyhow, I should probably put this under a cut before the spoilers get ridiculously large in quantity (my mother, however, definitely abused the internet and read a plot summary/spoiler thing. Loser.)

srsly, I did!
On a PS2! Smart, ja?
Yeah, I’m still last gen… what can I say? It didn’t cost me 700 bucks and there’s lots of games for it. (And I don’t have to snark about the 360 because there’s one in my basement!) Anyhoo, I totally dropped 250 bucks - you know, you have to buy the extra controller, the memory cards (what? It was six more dollars for twice the space! Obviously I’m going to buy it, even if the cards are stupid colours (was going for the all black scheme)) and, of course, a game. And obviously the system.
Speaking of the console, I knew that they made it smaller… but I didn’t realise that they made it so tiny! It’s, like, barely bigger than the game cases! So, yeah, my ps2 is totally being stored in my bookcase >.>;
Unfortunately, Wal-Mart only seems to sell Naruto, games based off of movies, Naruto, or games in genres I don’t like. It ended up being a tossup between Atelier Iris 3 and FFXII… AI3 won out, cuz I’m certain that Amie owns FFXII so I could just borrow it off of her. The game is amusing in a campy rpg sense so far, XD
(And I would totally be playing it atm, but I got home at seven and was starving. I hooked up the ps2 and played the game for an hour and a half before I was dying of starvation. So I took it down and put it in my room - I’m curious to see how long it will take my family to realise that I bought a ps2, XD)
Ummm… Yeah, I have two controllers and a 1p game. Go me!
(Also, I think I know why my brother never uses the super huge tv to play games… it kinda hurts the eyes…)

One week until I turn 19! Yay for being able to go to the Casino and buy alcomohols!
Too bad I work at nine AM the day after my bday. So much for getting totally smashed and crashing on Gerda’s couch. (Tho I suppose it is technically Danae’s couch. I suppose I could also sleep on Sam’s mattress in the middle of her living room. (srsly.))

Honestly, how does something go from 99.7% complete to 99.5? Does that not seem backwards to you (it should… being that it IS)? Hmph, I am quite vexed - it even says that I have downloaded 1.45 gigs out of 1.41. wtf? Is someone feeding my virii or something? I am annoyed and wish that it would finish downloading already ><;; it’s been stuck like that for a week!
I’ve figured out that I’ll have, like, 22 gigs of music soon, though. And this is only the first wave…
