Well, in all honesty, there isn't much of a story in this comic. Though I suppose that I owe a little explanation to anyone who lacks familiarity with Leigh and Lourdes...
The two of them both originated from a couple of RPs I participated in - both of which are now defunct. However, the Imagion RP isn't entirely dead, as Zephron is busy writing a '20 years later' story, Tsukari has a little comic about Navi and Riyo, Zaron is working on a game involving the characters and I myself occasionally do a little comic about Lourdes and Missa, as well as flirt with an idea for a cartoon involving the original characters.
I suppose I should explain the concept behind the RPs... but in both of their cases, it would take far too long. Imagion is a beast - and most of the original chapters were lost with Zaron's host 'sploding. Simply put, it was a soap opera full of intergalactic battles, love polygons, humour and drama. The other one, the one that Leigh came from, was a bit simpler in length - but no less complicated to explain. Essentially, it's set in a world that is divided between the forces of science and magic, set shortly after a massive war.
In fact, one of my goals is to make a site that explains both of the worlds (well, I believe that Travis (Tsukari) is planning on making an Imagion ref site for Navi+Riyo... I may get lazy and mirror that one, but I have a feeling that we would focus on different aspects of the RP). However, I have made absolutely no progress with said site.
Oh well.
More to the point of the comic, I mostly did this as a joke during class. But then I realised that it was lots of fun and began bothering people for questions to ask Leigh and Lourdes. Thus, I decided that I may as well make a habit out of it.
I'm pretty damn certain that there's a betting pool going behind my back about how long I will last.
My bet's on 10 comics.
PS: Leigh and Lourdes reside in my head, btw. If that clears anything up. Whether or not they're aware of this is a question I have no answer for. Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. Whatever.
