Daydream

A parody of Harry Potter fanfiction and ss/hg in particular.

It's pretty crappy.

One Shots

Oddly enough, both of these comics were drawn for Mir. I've probably got a few others floating around that I can put in this section, though. I'll see what I can dig up tomorrow. Maybe.

The Isis Project

One of the original concepts for my site was to have three comics.

Yes, three.

Yes, at that point, I had no experience with comic-ing. (Not that I have all that much now...)

Needless to say, all those plans failed. Horribly. And fire-y.

The original three comics were to be 'The Isis Project', 'Whitewolf' and 'Bandit's Bunnies'. They were all ditched to pursue 'Marriage of Inconvenience'. Which was later ditched to puruse... nothing. I dunno, MRD (again) and Explanations?

Anyhow, TIP came to my mind because I have always been mildly annoyed with random half-cat-half-dog-half-bird-half-lizard-half-dragon-half-phoenix-half-etc-etc... 'animals'. I'm sorry, what world do they come from? I don't know why I decided to, but I created a world in which such things were possible... through the means of genesplicing and test tube babies. Then I came up with Isis, half tiger half some sorta bird. She's a rich kid, kinda angsty (as teenaged girls are) but generally a nice girl. However, the genesplicing thing is a relatively new concept for her society, so, as she enters high school (in the regular fashion of being a freshie, unlike myself), she discovers that everyone is rather wary of her, even her childhood friends who really didn't understand before (but were beginning to drift away as the years went by) had ditched her.

She was alone and friendless in a school - a rather expensive one too - that was very hung up on cliques and the like. Not a good position.

Add in her older twin half sisters, Kasake and Naomi - two very popular (in very different ways) girls. Kasake was looking forward to a career in politics - SLC president, leader of the debate team, Prom Queen to be and the one everyone knows that's gunna MC their grad, straight A's. Very clean cut. Naomi, on the other hand, was a bit of a rebel. She doesn't participate in any school related activities - she prefers to hang out with her own crowd and on her own time. She dabbles in street racing, motocross, snowboarding and generally anything that could end in firely explosions and/or broken bones. A hellion on the road, but generally recognized as the better driver in a competition between her and her twin.

As Isis must come to terms with her less than stellar ratings with her peers, Kasake and Naomi (mostly Kasake) have to deal with being related to her. The story was meant to detail the three's interactions, fights and decisions. Drama would be the key genre, with a tiny bit of fluffy humour, romance (for the older two >.>;) and angst.

And it never got past two pages ^^

Anyhow, as you can see, I still rather like the idea... It's just that I cannot figure out how I wish to tell my story... Actually, I don't even have a story, just a concept.

That Old Piece of Crap

This. Is. So. Old. Done around 2000 or so to keep myself from being bored in the summer. I definately did not know how to draw then >.>; It's actually what made me start drawing.

A blatant, uncreative X-Men ripoff, but what can I say? I liked the X-Men (still do). Anyhow, I suppose it shows my beginnings as an artist. It also shows that anyone can become semi-decent at drawing. I don't have an ounce of natural talent (unlike some of my friends >.> I had to work (and work hard) to get to my current level. Dunno what to classify myself as. I'm not good (contrary to what a lot of people tell me. But they're not artists themselves, so how can they judge?), but I'm not exactly terrible.)
